Now a member of the Story Circle of the Capital District, she has performed at Tellabration 2001 and 2002, the Glen Sanders Mansion, and other area venues.
The Inuit People, SourceLine Extension 9481 Betty Cassidy is an evolving storyteller who has studied myths at several workshops with Jeannine Laverty and is now moving on to include folk and historical tales in her storytelling presentations. She has performed at a library story program in Baldwinsville, at Freedom Park in Scotia, and for various other children’s groups. She also uses her storytelling experience to help her students in community college speech and English classes, and to entertain at family events.

"A good story keeps them coming back for more." Nancy specializes in historical characterizations from the late l9th century. Her tales of emancipation, women's suffrage, and orphaned children have been heard at numerous public libraries and historical societies.
