2005 Local Tellers

Our festival is known for having some of the best storytellers from around the country. Our local tellers are listed below. In addition to these storytellers, we also feature outstanding nationally recognized and regional storytellers.

 
Barbara Chepaitis Barbara Chepaitis
- Storyteller and author of both mainstream novels and the futuristic suspense series The Fear Principle

Bill Cliff Bill Cliff
- World traveler and performer whose favorite haunts are Italy and India

Miki Conn Miki Conn
- Executive Director of Hamilton Hill Arts Center, a rich artistic outlet for African and African-American cultural arts

 

Joe Doolittle Joe Doolittle
- Storyteller and recounteur specializing in heartfelt tales as well as historical tales of the Northeast

Kate Dudding Kate Dudding
- Storyteller in Northeast USA whose story "The Reminder" was recently published in a book

Marni Gillard Marni Gillard
- Author of Storyteller, Storyteacher: The Power of Storytelling for Teaching and Living

Gert Johnson Gert Johnson
- Founder and coordinator of the Interfaith Story Circle of the Tri-City Area
