Bob Reiser

Bob Reiser Bob’s unique expansive and joyous storytelling style was shaped by a misspent youth of rooting for the Brooklyn Dodgers and doing improvisation, comedy and street theater. Accompanying himself with flute and drum, Bob brings warmth and wit to traditional and original tales. McFarland Press listed him among the “120 best contemporary English-speaking Storytellers.” He performs at festivals from New England to Oklahoma. Brother Blue (Dr. Hugh Morgan) of Cambridge Massachusetts calls his show, An Evening With Grandpa Abe and Uncle Ahmet, a "tour de force... an expression of the storyteller's highest art...." Author of six books for adults and children, he has worked with Pete Seeger and jazz drummer Panama Francis. His newest children’s book, David Gets His Drum, was recently published.
