Turn left at the next traffic light onto Kenwood Ave. Travel .7 miles and turn right onto Borthwick Ave. Just before the stop sign at the end of the street, turn right into the library parking lot. If you miss Borthwick Ave., continue to the next traffic light and turn right onto Route 443 ( Delaware Ave. ). Travel .4 miles, and just past the Town Hall on the right, turn right onto Borthwick Ave. The library parking lot entrance is a quick left.

NY-278/Brick Church Rd becomes NY-2. Go another 8.6 miles. Turn left onto Babcock Lake Road. The school is the first building on the left.

From the north: This library is minutes from the southern end of the Northway (I-87). Take Route 20 West at the end of The Northway (Route 87). The library is located at 2228 Western Ave., one mile west of the intersection of Route 155 and Route 20, on the left, opposite the Elementary School.
From the south and west: Take Exit 24 off I-87 (NYS Thruway). Follow the signs for Route 20 West. Follow directions from Route 20 as above.
From the east: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to the NYS Thruway. Take Exit 24 off I-87 (NYS Thruway). Follow the signs for Route 20 West. Follow directions from Route 20 as above.

The Library is located at 676 East Street, across from parking for the Amtrak train station.
From Albany: From 787, take the Dunn Memorial bridge exit and follow signs for the train station, which is on Herrick Street. Go to the end of Herrick Street and turn left onto East Street. The building is across from the parking lot, on your right, just before a blinking light.
From Troy: (Alternate route from using 787) Follow route 4 south to where it intersects with route 43, turn right. At the next light, turn right on Washington Avenue. Follow Washington Avenue downhill until it turns into Broadway at a sharp left. Continue on Broadway to the corner of Partition Street and turn left, then take the next right onto East Street, the building will be on your left just after a blinking light.
From East Greenbush: From Route 4, go on to Route 151 (Third Avenue between Walmart and Target). Turn right on Adams Street and then right onto East Street. The Library is past the train station and will be on your right just before a blinking light.

Take next right onto Rte 208. The library is 1/4 mile on the right. From Rte 85 (New Scotland Avenue), go west to Rte 85A. Turn right onto Rte 85A and take to junction 85A and 156. Proceed as above.

From the south: Take Route 787 north to the second Watervliet exit (23rd Street and Green Island). Bear left; at first traffic light turn left onto Broadway. Proceed four blocks. The library is on the right at the corner of 15th Street and Broadway, across from City Hall. (It is the same building as the Senior Citizens' Center.) Parking is in the rear of the building.
From the west: Take Route 2 (Troy-Schenectady Road) east toward Watervliet (where it becomes 19th Street). Turn right onto Second Avenue just before the Congress Street Bridge, go two blocks south. Turn right onto Broadway (McDonald's is on the corner). The library is one block south.
From the east: Take the Congress Street Bridge over the Hudson River from Troy. Turn left on Second Avenue and proceed as above from the west.
The Library is located in the Mayor J. Leo O'Brien Municipal Center, along with the Senior Citizens Center.

At the junction with Albany Shaker Road, turn left onto Albany Shaker Road and proceed across Wolf Road . The library is about 100 yards ahead on the left.
