Q: What building has the most stories?
A: The public library!
The public library will have even more stories than usual come early April! That's when many of the public libraries in Albany and Rensselaer Counties host Riverway Storytelling Festival. If you live in the Capital District, chances are you'll find a part of the Festival close to home.
Riverway offers a treat for you, whatever your age. Our weeklong program includes events for children, teens, and families and other events meant just for adults. We have Laughin' Night, Ghost Stories Night, and Our Favorite Stories Night all on tap, among more than 20 other events!
So come join with us to laugh together, share a poignant moment or two, and surely recognize ourselves in the stories told by our masterful tellers. We look forward to welcoming you!
