Margaret French

Margaret French Margaret French has always told stories to the children in her life. Since retiring as director of the Writing Center at Union College, she has been sharing stories with adults as well: of her Canadian heritage, her home in upstate New York (especially Saratoga where she has often led summer walking tours), folktales from around the world, and personal and family stories that reflect her gently humorous take on the foibles of humankind. She has performed at many venues in New York and elsewhere. In addition, she has led storytelling workshops for Hospice, the Academy for Lifelong Learning, and senior groups.
