Student Storytelling

Our student storytellers this year come from Maple Hill Middle School. They are seventh graders who participate in CASST: Connections After School Storytelling Troupe. Connections is a language arts class that provides students the opportunity to become involved in service learning projects and link their learning to their community. Teachers Christine Fowler and Marilyn Michaels partner with Mary Murphy, a story coach, writer and storyteller, to offer guidance, skill practice and fun as they prepare student storytellers to perform in many venues - including the Riverway Storytelling Festival.
